A prominent leader in India's technology sector, the founder of the International Startup Foundation has played a pivotal role in developing Hyderabad's IT ecosystem. Renowned for driving innovation, he has significantly contributed to the growth of the tech industry and the establishment of key institutions like Fintech Valley in Vizag.

J A Chowdary has been a visionary leader in the IT sector, holding the role of Founding Director at Software Technologies Parks of India (STPI) across Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai. He was instrumental in building the IT ecosystems in Hyderabad and Cyberabad. As a founding member of PortalPlayer, he played a critical role in designing and manufacturing the core Silicon Chip for Apple’s iPod, which led to the company’s acquisition by NVIDIA Graphics. He later served as Managing Director for NVIDIA India before founding the EdTech startup TalentSprint, acquired by the National Stock Exchange of India.

He was later appointed as Special Chief Secretary and IT Advisor to the Chief Minister by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, where he promoted the IT industry in the newly formed state. He was pivotal in creating Fintech Valley Vizag and the Institute of Excellence in Digital Technologies (IIDT) in Tirupati.

Currently, Mr. Chowdary is the co-founder and general partner of the SEBI-approved Venture Capital firm, Succeed Innovation Fund, which supports early-stage Indian startups. He also established the International Startup Foundation (ISF) to bolster the global startup ecosystem. Additionally, he mentors several startups in emerging technologies and serves as Chairman for the India Blockchain Technology Standards Committee under BIS/ISO.
